Main purpose of job:
SAO is the first point of contact for security enquiries, management of compound passes and police back ground checks. Liaison with authorities to ensure that visitors are cleared to enter the Diplomatic enclave. Events security, access control and clearances for functions are their main tasks. Apart from this, he covers the role of SLOs as and when it is required.
Roles and responsibilities:
To ensure Entry clearance, for Diplomatic Enclave and BHC compound and High commission.
Liaise with diplomatic police Department on daily basis.
Process all staff (FCO, DFID, British Council, and Domestic) security clearances for verification process to police department.
Log and maintain data of domestic staff/FC and persons denied access.
Log and manage data on numbers of staff visiting Northern area.
Issue office ID cards to all staff in Whole Mission.
Manage security on official events / private events functions.
Preparation of the visitors list on the daily basis.
Monitoring CCTV�s installed in the security office.
Monitoring track 24 screen installed in security office.
Process the Heavy Vehicles Clearances and ensured the entry.
Accompany with the official visits in case if all SLOs are deployed.
Procurement of stationery and different office equipments on behalf of Department.
Look after the department dedicated vehicle (Maintenance, Top up, cleaning and Log Book Maintaining).
All other administrative support to Security department.
Carry out tasks as directed by the OSM/DOSM/SSM/DSSM.
Essential qualifications and experience
Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) is required.
Previous experience working for a disciplined organisation, armed services, police or at least 03 years experience operating in an administration/ liaison capacity.
Valid Driving Licence
Language requirements: English and Urdu
Level of language required: Excellent English & Urdu verbal and written skills required.
Desirable qualifications and experience
Skilled IT worker
Good standard of oral and written, in one or more of the following; Punjabi, Sindhi, Hindko and Pashto.
