Job Role Summary


Maintain close contact with Site Security Contacts and other relevant Business Line representatives
Provide advice, guidance, and training to Business Line to communicate timely threat information, lessons learned, and best practices
Appraise the effectiveness of the overall security programs and operations in the area of responsibility, including coordination and execution of Quality Assurance Security Reviews
Participate in Affiliate Leadership Teams (LTs) and Audit and Control (A&C) Committees and assist in the application of security best practices for personnel protection in higher threat environments
Provide guidance and support to Lead Country Managers with implementation of affiliate-wide risk mitigation
Provide functional and advisory support to operating organizations regarding management of Embedded Security Guard Forces
Provide guidance for travel limitations and "close-in" protection for executives visiting in higher threat environments
Advise Business Line on risk management and technical security recommendations and implementation
Establish and maintain liaisons with government and law enforcement agencies within the area of responsibility
Assist with the tracking of security costs and security involvement in projects and management of change (MOC) processes
Participate in Emergency Response groups and deployments, as appropriate
Conduct timely and thorough investigations of irregularities / incident investigations in accordance with local laws and Investigative RP; ensure incident reporting
Advise and assist Line Management and GS Business Centers on complex investigations
Assist in development of evacuation plans
Provide support for business continuity plans
Carry out any other assignments or tasks as assigned by Global Security


Expected Level of Proficiency


Previous security experience ( government or corporate security)
O&G Business and operations knowledge and experience
Knowledge and application of ExxonMobil business practices including OIMS and CIMS
Knowledge of GS RPs/Processes/Practices
Strong interpersonal skills - ability to influence without exerting authority
Previous supervisory / leadership experience
